Now, before we make a start on your emails, let's have a recap of what happened this week in Ambridge.

This week, it was Pips's turn to get the cold.

We began the week with Rurie and Alice chatting and her debating how she was going to

spring herself on an unsuspecting Rex.

Rory suggested she hide in a hedge and leap out on him with a bottle.

Alice opted instead for describing the somewhat tedious Valentine's Day barcl with David

and Ruth.

Not entirely sure how she thinks that was going to help.

I think Rex hoped she'd start drinking again.

He furthered this hope by suggesting she basically went on a pub crawl with him,

which I feel was somewhat ill-advised for a recovering alcoholic, but love is blind and a bit thick,

clearly. If Alice was hoping for some romantic entanglement, it didn't work,

as the entire premise of the project was that they split up. Rory had to go to Beiro in order to,

quote, start getting more farming experience, unquote, when what he actually meant was,

Brian wants me to wade about in pig shit for a week as punishment for letting him in for a jail

sentence. He duly aquaplained through about six inches of it, much to Hannah's delight, which I found
