Summary

In this video, we’re exploring the secret spaces built into Tudor houses from hidden staircases to priest holes tucked behind fireplaces. Hey guys, welcome back to another YouTube drop from the Renaissance English History podcast YouTube channel.

0:07.2

So I've started doing these for a couple of reasons.

0:10.0

And I just wanted to preface this by saying, you know, this is a drop on a video I put out today on priest hides and like secrets in Tudor homes, secret places.

0:20.7

So I got some requests from people who said that they

0:24.1

don't watch YouTube. They don't look at stuff on YouTube. And they like the This Week in YouTube

0:29.4

that comes out weekly on Sundays. But they also would like it if, you know, the actual videos

0:35.5

when I put them out, if they, if I also put them on

0:37.8

the podcast feed. And I have noticed other like news channels that I watch on YouTube do that,

0:44.3

have podcasts as well where they'll put the episode from that day on a podcast feed because I,

0:49.2

I know like a lot of people don't necessarily watch YouTube and aren't into YouTube, but still

0:54.0

want to listen to

0:55.2

the content. So I'm thinking that I will put out more YouTube videos, the audio of it. So I did see a

1:04.6

comment on one of my YouTube videos where somebody said they did not like the YouTube drops,

1:14.0

as I'm calling them here. But then I also had asked in my newsletter list, the newsletter that I sent out last week, I asked people to give me

1:19.0

feedback. And I received several emails back from people who said they did like it. So I'm still

1:24.9

trying to figure it out, right? And one thing I was thinking was like maybe I didn't put out every video I do. Maybe I put out like half of them because I do a lot of videos. So maybe I just put out some of them. Yeah, I'm not sure. So I'm still kind of playing around with this in my head. I would love to know any feedback you have, any thoughts. You can drop me a note always.

1:45.8

Help at tudorfair.com. Help at tutorfair.com goes through. That's like the customer service.

1:51.8

I'm using air quotes as I say that. That's the customer service email. And we will take a look at that.

1:57.3

So I would like to know either way. Are you enjoying the extra episodes? Is it cluttering up the feed? Do you like it? Do you not like it?

2:06.2

Please let me know because, you know, I can make a decision for what I think is good, but then I'm just guessing. So I would like to know what you think.

2:15.9

All right. So without further ado, here is today's

2:19.4

YouTube video on priest tides. Enjoy. You know what's great about Tudor houses? Aside from the wood
