Hello, friends. I've been starting the episodes this month with a short testimony because we need

encouragement. We need to hear what God is doing in other people's lives, even if it's something

really simple. So today I want to share with you an email I got recently from a listener that I've

been hearing from for a while. She's pretty faithful and consistent to just send me little updates, which

I love, I love hearing how God is working in your marriage. It gives me encouragement to

see, oh, God is on the move in so many creative ways. This was her comment to me. She says,

my husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary yesterday. When he asked what time to make

the reservation, I told him to make it later because the kids

would be gone and we were going to make love before we went to dinner.

It really did make all the difference in our connection.

So that is a reference to a tip that I gave about making love before your date instead of

waiting after because sometimes

after you're tired your tummy's full it's late and you just kind of zone out at the

end of the night and crash well if you prioritize it before sometimes what can happen

is that you actually get a boost of energy and you have all of the wonderful connection hormones

flooding through your body so that you actually go on your date already connected and you're

not trying to connect in a loud, busy restaurant after a long week. So thank you for sharing that.
