Perhaps you've not thought about it, but when we sing together we teach one another, we communicate the truths of scripture.

Some of the great doctrines are housed in the words of the Psalms.

In ancient churches, the hymn book was called the Salter, taken from the words The various songs were put to music and people sang the songs as they appeared in

scripture with melodies alongside them. So much of our worship is connected to music. The

Lord is the one who created it when the morning stars sang together.

Can you imagine the sound?

When the voices of angels harmonize together.

There's an old gospel song that has the refrain.

Holy, holy, holy is what the angels sing.

And I expect to help them make the courts of heaven ring.

But when I sing Redemption's story, they will fold their wings.

For angels never felt the joy that my salvation brings.
