And as a 22-year-old, I have no memory of a good Jets team.

And I just, I'm at a loss. I mean, it's just, I don't even see the end of the tunnel. I don't see the light. There's no, there's no getting out of it either. I mean, we got, quote, unquote, good young players who are getting older every day. This is already year four of Garrett and S. And Sauce has, you know, not, you know,

been a non-factor the entire year. And we couldn't even resign DJ Reed. And not only that,

I had to watch the Nationals hacky sack their way to a series win. And it's just, I, it's like the worst, I I can't win it's the worst day I can remember

of being both a Mets and a Jets fan and that's saying something yeah thank you no I feel you

the only thing I could say I can't believe I'm uttering this sentence but it's true I hope our

last caller's a Knicks fan because at least you have that I was gonna was going to say, because the nets are going to give you anything. No, no, I'm dead. Forget me. Screw me. I'm dead. I'm a carcass on the side of the road. But to our last caller, who's only 22 years old, which means he has seen nothing of good from the New York Jets. Like, think of, do the math. He has seen nothing good as a jet fan, which almost makes me wonder, how did he survive his childhood and remain a Jets fan? Yeah. I'll tell you a true story. My neighbor listens to the show, is a big Jet fan, just like me, big Yankee fan, too, but a Jet fan. And he was texting me after the jet loss and said, you know, my youngest son looked at me and said, I don't want to be a jet fan. I want to be a giant fan. So I said to him, I said, have him stay up late and watch the Giants. Don't worry. This two shall pass. And of course it did. He was embarrassed by the Giants. And so I said to him So he a Chief's fan. Well, I said to him this morning and tell me if this is the right answer. I said, look, I cannot blame a young child from saying, I don't want to root for these decrepit franchises. So what's the NFL team that a young child can pick where we won't be offended. Because obviously the Eagles are really good.

That would offend you.

Of course it would.

The Chiefs.

Anybody in either of our divisions don't work.

Got to rule them out.

The Chiefs, they feel like you're jumping on the bandwagon.

Even if you're a young kid, you don't realize how big that bandwagon is.

So I found one.

I found the perfect team. I found the perfect team. There can't be history as well. It can't be like the San Francisco 49. It's not the San Francisco. Exactly. I found a team with a limited history against us, both of us, and a team that's good. Okay, so we got the good aspect. Consistently good?

Pretty, uh, relatively.

Okay.

And here's the key. Likeable. Okay, because it's easy to say, well, pick this team. They haven't done anything to you. Like the Chargers. Like, oh, how about the Chargers? Is Jim Harbaugh likeable? Not really. No. So ladies and gentlemen, the team that we can allow our children to root for, good team, solid team, even though they had a bad loss yesterday, would be the Los Angeles Rams.
