So what was great about the week, the Jags and the Lions got together. They had joint practices. They had two practices.

The first one was a real padded physical affair. The second one was not padded.

They kind of, not a walk through, but just like a little dial back and then they played the game.

And what I learned and talking to Doug, you just talked about the importance of putting your starters in those practices because you almost get game like intensity.

But in a controlled environment where you can get good quality work and maybe not put some of your best, better players in a risky situation.

Is legit, man. Hey, DJ, he is. He is unique in terms of he's a downhill runner who has pit of pet and great vision.

I know it's a preseason game, but you don't see running backs have 70 yards on 12 carries following your game in which you had like 57 on a handful of carries the week before.

And it's apparent that the Jags have a plan in place for him to be a physical thing, a physical presence.
