What do you make of this Lena Hadalgo announcement?

As you said, I've been following it for a number of years.

This is an interesting development, and I think people need to focus on the governance

what's going on right now because we do have questions where in the middle of hurricane

season, we know the county judges are ahead of emergency response, so we should be concerned

about who is in charge of our county, the duties that they have, and who's going to actually

execute on those duties.

People should be deeply concerned in trying to learn more about this.

We learned about this yesterday, Commissioner Tom Ramsey was our guest prior to you, and

he said he found out yesterday with the rest of the public, and then Rodney Ellis gives

an interview with channel two where he says that Lena notified him a few weeks ago.

Don't you think it's odd that there were weeks that went by that we had no county judge

who's the head of our emergency preparedness department?
