by Nick Ackridge. We're going to be recapping last night's Monday night football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants.

The Pittsburgh Steelers finishing that game as 26 to 18 winners, taken sole first place of the

AFC north at roughly the mid-season point, so pretty impressive season for the

Steelers so far.

I'm going to jump right in with my most, my stat that told the story of the game here,

and that's just how often Daniel Jones was under pressure.

He was under pressure on 53.5% of his dropbacks in this game. I actually don't think he

played too poorly on those dropbacks. He had some nice plays in there, but anytime you get, if you get about 40% of your dropbacks being under pressure it's

pretty unsustainable and it's very unlikely the quarterback is going to have a good game

and being up above 50% it made it a pretty impossible task for this offense.

And T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith were huge problems off the edge for the entire game.

Eventually that pressure all told with T.J. What making the sack

forced fumble, fumble recovery trifecta that was one of the key deciding plays in

the game.

Nick, what was your stat that told the story?

Yeah, kind of going off of that that fumble was just the red zone efficiency for the giants. They got to the red zone three times in that game and they only came away with three total points.

They didn't have a single goal to go possession and two turnovers in the red zone is just going

to make it hard to win games, especially against a Steelers defense.

They were able to move the ball well throughout the game

kind of get into the Steelers territory consistently, but they just couldn't

finish drives and you know, the pressure staff that you brought up is kind of a key part of that, you know,
