I'm an Arab-American Palestinian-American clinical psychologist.

I'm a professor and I'm a writer, a novelist, and a poet, and I'm someone that thinks very much in terms of

narrative, how stories get disjointed, how they get fragmented, and then what we can do with those

fragments, so both in terms of like creative work and in terms of clinical work. And so I think

that's kind of the through line that connects all the different roles that I have

and different work that I do.
