So today is Earth Day, and I thought it would be the perfect time to jump on here and talk to you about why I love

vintage clothing and accessories so much because I just feel like the environmental

impact

That the fast-fashion industry has had on our planet is just out of control and

Sustainability has just become a hot topic people are talking about it people are concerned about their own footprint and how they're impacting the planet with their choices

So I want to take you back a little bit to when I started getting into selling vintage curating my online store

And just kind of like when the obsession began so I have always loved vintage clothing and vintage accessories

I mean, I remember as a little girl playing in my grandmother's jewelry box and just like adorning myself with all of her sparkly

Broaches and her big earrings and I just have always been extra and she was very extra

especially like you know in the 80s and you know 70s and even the 60s like her stuff was just fabulous

I still have so many of her pieces and they're all costume jewelry there

You know somewhere designer, but nothing you know super crazy

She unfortunately didn't collect Chanel the way that I do I wish she had them so jealous of people who are like oh

Yeah, my grandmother has a closet full of Chanel suits. That was not the case with us

But she really did have some beautiful

Beautiful pieces with a lot of personality

So that you know was always a thing for me and then when I got into high school

I started thrifting and I was obsessed with the 70s

I would go and buy
