Summary

Investigators interview surgeon Niels Jorgensen, the man Linda had reported for harassing Christine. 1:16.0	The investigation into Christine's murder seemed to be an uphill battle from day one.
1:21.4	Two days into it, Wisconsin newspapers told concerned readers that the task force was seeking assistance from the public. They needed
1:28.6	witnesses and clues, they needed a murder weapon and a motive. They needed help. One of the early
1:34.9	trails they pursued was a rash of recent attacks and muggings on and around the UW campus.
1:40.8	Three days after the murder, the mayor of Madison had a meeting with his
1:44.8	citizens' advisory committee to discuss the recent street violence. For example, on Saturday
1:51.6	evening, the night before Christine's murder, a couple had been accosted along University
1:55.9	Avenue. On Sunday night, a 22-year-old man was dragged from his car and beaten.
2:02.3	Apparently, a lot of these recent crimes involved local teenagers attacking UW college students.
