We're picking up with the new devotional on the Bible app titled The Art of Overcoming.

So we're super excited about that.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture, then Tori is going to pick up the

divo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is John, chapter 12 verse 24, and it says this, I tell you the truth, unless

a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone.

But its death will produce many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives.

The devotional is titled Indians are beginnings, and it says this, if you've ever experienced

the sudden death of a friend or family member, you know the terrible power of death when

it strikes.

The same is true for the sudden loss of anything we value.

It's a sucker punch that drops us in our tracks.

We feel powerless, hopeless, and defeated.

But what if loss and grief aren't as final as they feel?

The more I read the Bible and the longer I follow Jesus, the more I've seen this simple

truth at work.
