0:33.4	In early June, we told you about the case of 20-year-old Molly Tibbitts, the University of Iowa student who was killed well out for a run in 2018.
0:41.0	There was a trial and a conviction in late May.
0:44.0	However, there is a new wrinkle in the case.
0:46.2	I'm joined by Mario Rossi, digital executive producer W.O.I. in Des Moines to tell us about what's been going on.
0:51.8	And Mario, the latest wrinkle has to do with the defense team
0:54.9	coming forward with new evidence that they are presenting to potentially overturn the conviction
1:00.1	of their client. Let's talk about, first of all, the case and what happened back in 2018 and
1:06.9	what happened to Molly Tibbitts. Yeah, so Molly Tibbitts is a 20-year-old University of Iowa student who grew up in a small town in Iowa,
1:17.8	kind of midway between, you know, Central Iowa and Eastern Iowa.
1:22.5	And she's a very happy person, very well thought of, very friendly.
1:27.9	And she goes for a run in the summer of 2018 in July.
1:34.0	She is not heard from.
1:35.8	She's not seen from, which raises a lot of concern for family and friends in the area.
