What do you think of when you hear that word for me? It kind of sends me back to the time when I was a kid.

I'd always have to ask my parents or teacher if it was okay to do something.

I mean, we didn't have water bottles in our backpacks like kids do now, right?

So I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure I asked to use the water found

at least a thousand times when I was in school.

I think a lot of us couldn't wait to be grown-ups because that meant we didn't have to ask someone else to tell us it was okay to do so many things but even though we are adults and may have kids of our own, we still may feel need for approval in some aspects

of our life. We may not think of it in terms of permission, but I'm going to give you an example

as something that occurred to me one day when I was in smack dab the middle of traffic

now I lived in Puerto Rico for almost three years oh it's beautiful oh so beautiful here but I'm not going to lie.
