Hello friends. Happy Tuesday. I hope your day is treating you well.

I've been thinking a lot about my plans this week. I think of myself as a plant person.

We have a ton of plants around our house, but one time when we had friends over for dinner,

my friend was like, do you think of yourself as being good with plants?

And I was like, yeah, I think so. I think I have to kill one of every plant to figure out how

to take care of it. And she was like, oh, that's interesting because you mostly have pothos.

Pothos are other easy to care for plants in your house. And I was like, oh yeah, maybe that's why.

Maybe that's why I feel like I'm good with plants because I just have the easiest possible

plants to take care of. Like if you don't know pothos are like these like a vining plants.

And when they're thirsty, they just kind of tell you. And you can kind of like water them on a

pretty regular schedule, which works for me. And if you miss something, it's not like the end of

the world that kind of just recover. And yeah, but I have like an aloe over here who is like

looking pretty sickly, if I'm honest, and some snake plants that are struggling. So I,

yeah, I think I'm not really good with plants. I think I just get the easiest ones to care for.

And this has been on my mind and kind of why I'm thinking about this because I'm trying to figure

out a new schedule for watering them because I typically just water on Saturdays. But the problem is

that we have so many that it has become like a real burden to me. Like I'm starting to feel like

resentful because it takes up so much of my Saturday. The other thing is that I don't make time

for like the deeper works that needs to be done with them, like repotting or fertilizing or

aerating the soil because I am so sick of them by the end of watering is time if I'm honest. So

I need to like spread that energy out so that I have the energy to do the things that they need
