The grace of God means that there is never a day when you cannot

about this very important biblical concept.

Today is the day of fresh beginnings.

Today is the day when you can start anew.

And that is true, as we will talk about throughout this episode, in any given area of your life.

You see, because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, there is always the possibility

of healing, of changing, of transforming, and of growing. And this is going to be really important

for us because, as I'm about to talk about, we break things as people. We sin. We fail. When we

look in the rear view mirror of our lives, we see

wreckage, we see pain, we see that we haven't gotten at all right. That truth can overwhelm you,

or you can grasp and claim this glorious reality of Christianity that I'm here starting to unpack.

You can begin again. That's what you can do

as God works in you. In what follows, I want to give you four thoughts, four thoughts about how

you and I can approach beginning again. Four thoughts. The first is this. We all break things.

We all break things. That's true without any exception.

The world is not divided into those who mess up their life.

And those, on the other hand, who lead a squeaky, clean, flawless existence and need

no renewal, do not need to humble themselves.
