My brothers and sisters, Allah Almighty has made us a part of an Ummah, a part of a group of

people who follow the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him we believe that

there is none worthy of worship besides Allah and we believe that Muhammad peace be upon him is a

messenger of Allah the messenger of Allah the final messenger of Allah subhanahua and we say

sallallah alexand whenever we hear his name.

But that should bring about a feeling of brotherhood amongst us and a connection between us

and a link that we should be mindful of.

We should be looking out for one another, trying to find out if anyone is in need.

Not that we should not be bothered about the rest of humanity or the rest of the creatures,

but the circle begins here.

Like we say, the duty of every one of us is to take care of those whom you are responsible for, primarily as a parent or a brother or an uncle. So the

circle would commence with your immediate family members who are dependent on you. That doesn't

mean that you need to be rude or hard or harsh or uncaring to others. But what it does mean is

I started off somewhere and inshallah I'm going to make a bigger circle and a bigger circle

and a bigger circle. So much so that if there was a person who was drowning and right next to him

his dog was also drowning, a question would be who would

you save first a dog drowning or the human being who's drowning right next to the dog who would you say

first the dog. Who would you say first? The dog.
