My name is Sarah Turney, and this is Voices for Justice. Today, I am covering a case from

1991 that absolutely shook Austin, Texas to its core when Sergeant John

Jones got the call that the I Can't Believe its yogurt shop was on fire, and soon discovered

the bodies of four teenage girls inside. Their cases were collectively coined the yogurt shop

murders, and it's one of the most notorious

and puzzling cases from Austin to this day.

These cases are complicated and tragic.

There is a large list of witnesses and a large list of suspects.

There's a lot of bad police work, there are multiple confessions,

overturned convictions, and DNA that still needs further testing. But most importantly,

there are four victims and three families that have been waiting a long time for justice.
