Summary

There is no question 16 year old Ralph Yarl did not have any bad intentions when he mistakenly went to the wrong door last week but the case is much more complicated than what's being presented.  It's more than plausible that an 84 year old man that was asleep that night was truly scared and in fact called the police himself.  We simply have to get to a point where we stop jumping to racist conclusions and allow "innocent until proven guilty" to be our guiding light once again.  Andrew Lester may be a lot of things both good and bad... we just don't know yet.    The Missouri House has passed a slam dunk bill that prevents trans persons from competing in girls and women's sports, 104-46.  It's got a chance to become law and wrecks my plan for the KC Current to win an easy championship.  Dang the luck.     It's hard for the Royals to hit a new low but they did it Tuesday night.    The NFL Draft is coming to KC and if you can believe it, our town will have more security for this than Nancy Pelosi wanted for January 6.  Fact.

Well, I just got a ton of emails from so many of you over the past couple of days

0:12.6

concerning two stories that we've been talking about.

0:15.6

One we've been talking about, one we have not been talking about on the podcast,

0:18.4

but two stories everybody is talking about.

0:20.3

The first being Ralph Yarl, the 16-year-old boy from the Northland in Kansas City,

0:25.5

Missouri, who was shot on Friday night while approaching a door or ringing a doorbell at the

0:32.6

wrong house. We'll get to that in the moment. The other story is the Bud Light controversy.

0:37.1

And many of you disappointed with me that I don't have a tougher stance on Bud Light.

0:40.4

And we'll address that coming up in just a couple of moments as well.

0:44.7

We'll start with the case of Ralph Yarrow, the 16-year-old boy who pulled into a driveway on 115th street instead of 115th terrace on Friday night to pick up siblings and rang

0:57.7

the doorbell. This is not in dispute. And I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this in a unique

1:01.0

way today because you're not able to consume this or get this anywhere else like you're going

1:06.8

to hear it right here on this podcast. I'm going to give this story twice.

1:16.5

And I'm going to, I'm not going to read anything to you. I'm going to give you the facts of the story twice in order to demonstrate exactly what's going on. And ultimately, the reason that I have

1:23.3

not spoken about this case until now is I just, I had to have some facts. I had to know a little bit

1:30.3

about what happened because we weren't getting any of that. It was just okay, this happened.

1:34.1

And everybody now jumps to conclusion. It is absolutely insane. So I'll give you this

1:39.7

in a couple of different ways. And we'll start first with the fact that, let's just do the story

1:46.8

this way. Andrew Lester is an 84-year-old man who was sleeping on Friday night when he was
