if I've ever seen it.

And it hadn't happened yet, in post season you could even argue it really hadn't

happened all season you prophesied this in the preview pod talking about sticking with coal if he's looking strong

stretching him a little bit more and that's exactly the situation the Yankees were up against in the seventh

inning calls it 88 pitches first batter gets on and this is the classic thing. How many times in the past six years

under Aaron Boone's management have I yelled about going batter to batter and trying to

steal outs and then not giving relievers clean innings.

And I'm not even arguing here that they should have started the inning with Clay Holmes.

But what they did is the worst possible thing you can do.

It doesn't trust your $40 million or whatever, however much money Cole is making

Ace who had been dominant, dominant since the first inning, even though he gave

up a run and whatever inning it was, we'll talk about how he gave up the run, but like he gave up to hard hit balls in the first thing and nothing had been dominant so he gave up a lead off single
