| 0:00.0 | This is an outline that I wrote August 21st, 2024, 845 in the morning, right? |
| 0:05.1 | Okay. |
| 0:06.0 | Early. |
| 0:06.5 | Early in the brain be going, you know what I'm saying? |
| 0:09.0 | All right. |
| 0:09.4 | So look, the way you can make women feel safe again from my perspective, this is opinion |
| 0:14.1 | base. |
| 0:14.7 | Number one, offer support without expecting anything in return. |
| 0:18.3 | Okay. |
| 0:19.4 | That's number one. |
| 0:39.2 | Number two, understanding protection and control is not the same thing. That's two. Three, listen and validate women's stories. Four, challenge misogyny when you see it. That's a big one. That's the one, as a man, if you don't know where else you can start, that's the easiest place to start because if you look to your left, you know, in the church they say, |
| 0:57.4 | neighbor look to your left and you're right, you see somebody perpetuated massagony in some type of way, right? Five, respect women's boundaries in personal space. That shouldn't even have to be said, you know what I mean, but this is how you make women feel safe. Six, educate yourself on what's going on and seven support women's choices. This is my idea of how you can make women feel safe again. |
| 0:54.2 | I'd set it to like, I said it again to play on like Make America Great again, you know what I'm saying? But yeah, that's how you make women feel safe. I like that, bro. Can we talk about the difference between being a protector and being controlling? Yeah. What does that mean to you? because I feel like a lot of men, they get caught up in thinking that protecting her is controlling her. |
| 1:17.2 | Protecting her is literally just offering provision and guidance. |
| 1:22.1 | Okay. |
| 1:22.8 | That's all protection means. |
| 1:24.9 | You know what I mean? |
| 1:25.4 | Like even like my sister, I could give her advice and tell her like, |
| 1:30.2 | I don't think you should kick it with that dude. I don't think you should be over here with these |
| 1:34.0 | girls or these people. That's my protection and my provision for her. Controlling her is like, |
| 1:39.5 | I'm not allowing you to go over there. You get what I'm saying? And I think that this, we got to be careful with this |
| 1:45.3 | because I think a little bit of both are necessary at different times. Yes. You know what I'm going to say that? 100%, you know, so we got to be careful with that. Control is force. Protection is like, it's a flow. Yeah. You know what I mean? That's how I look at it. The control is like literally stopping something. |
