So on this week's special episode, which is in addition to our regular episode, in which we talked about the Video Music Awards and all kinds of our usual fare.

In this episode, we're going to be talking about

a TV show that has been off the air for several years, but has a special place in a lot of,

I think, 20-somethingers hearts, which is Gossip Girl, which I wrote about in an article for

the October issue of the magazine. And for the article,

I talked to all sorts of people involved with the show. I talked to Blake lively and Langmeister,

who played Serena VanderWudson and Blair Waldorf, the two kind of iconic characters at the

center of the show. I also talked to Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage in Los Angeles,

a lot of the actors from Dorota to Blair and Serena. So everyone involved. And it was a lot of fun to

kind of dig into the legacy of the show at its 10-year anniversary.

And I just want to jump in to say that I think this is the best thing Josh has ever written.

He talked to everybody involved with the show, dug up all these fascinating trivia little tidbits.

I think my favorite, you'll find out, like, they go deep. I was surprised that people talked about the period where Blake dated Leo,

Leonardo DiCaprio. They talked about a potential for a spinoff, like everything you could ever

hope for in an article Josh addressed.
