And this is mostly nitpicking a podcast where we pick apart a piece of pop culture by looking exclusively at the details.

DJ this week we start a saga.

Yes.

Much like all the comics that bear its name, how everything is a saga.

And they always try it cram it into one movie, and it never works.

We are going to start talking about a couple, a select group of X-Men movies, because right now it is,

so like the week we're recording this is the week of like the 22nd. It's probably on this

will go out of March. So between now and when Dark Phoenix comes out, there's a fair amount of space,

but not necessarily enough that we can do every core X-Men movie. So we've decided to fill

the four spots remaining. We're going to do the three reboot movies. So like first class

days for your past apocalypse. And then the last spot is going to the last stand, X-Men 3. And then

eventually we'll do Dark Phoenix. and then we'll be able to

be able to kind of have covered both everything leading up to Dark Phoenix in this dumb new continuity

and the movie that it seems to be based on. Yeah. Yeah. We kind of, we pitched this the other day,

like last podcast, never put up a poll, but we decided it worked anyway. And, um, so we're rolling with it. And it will work. Yeah. And you know what? It's, it's good that we're doing it now because I believe I read somewhere that this is the last one of these that will ever be, dark phoenix is the last x-man movie that will

be released in theaters by after the fox disney merger so it does seem like new mutants is going to

go the way of the of the darwin oh i don't know it's not gonna it might not be really it might

be dumped to hulu so that's like a rumor but um so um, so if we had waited until, or sorry, not
