Summary

It’s a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard in Greensboro, NC. Greg DuCharme and Mark Immelman break it all down on today’s First Cut Podcast. Harold Varner III, Tom Hoge and Roger Sloan sit atop the leaderboard at 8-under. All three are looking for their first PGA Tour win (1:29). Established winners Webb Simpson and Patrick Reed are lurking in the wings. We look at their opening round and what they need to do in order to close the gap (10:27). After the break we get into some strugglers on Thursday. Brooks Koepka, Jordan Spieth and Justin Rose all failed to get solid rounds going at a golf course yielding low scores (15:15).
