Hello and welcome to their SmackDown review, I'm Adam Wilborn from WhatCulture joined by one of the dadly boys, Michael Sigewick from WhatCulture to review everything that happened on Friday Night's episode of SmackDown.

As I said, though, joined by Sigewick to review Friday Night's SmackDown, Michael Hampler enjoying a well-earned day off.

This is a nice change, having you touch up about a SmackDown, what'd you make of the alternative to Monday Night Raw?

Well, I tell you what, that was some good part, Nugly in here, but contrary to most WWE podcasts of which I'm a part, I was actually looking forward to unpacking this and giving my thoughts on it.

I mean, we sit here every Tuesday morning on my Jesus Christ.

What could possibly say about this bland filler, five minutes on extra, on every match extra that doesn't need it, just to fill out the bloody time?

Nothing's going on, how bland.

There's some stuff here, I'm really looking forward to putting over, putting under, and just generally unpacking and trying to get my head around.

It is such a surreal experience for me on Monday, because often I'll watch SmackDown Saturday, Sunday, and generally have a quite a good time watching it.

I come in here and we rave about it, and then you and I talk about Rampage, which we'll be doing a little bit later on.

And then I have to switch gears, and nothing for all.

Nothing, he's given up a long, long time ago.

It's such a weird dynamic though, because I know it's no longer the flagship SmackDown obviously is.

But you'd think the roles would be reversed, you'd think for the big SmackDown show, they'd announce a couple of things.

If Roman Reigns is going to be on the show, or Ronda Rouse, he's doing something, you chuck that out there, that's going to get a load of eyes, blah, blah, blah.

And Rouse, just by the mere fact that it's an hour longer, well, they'll have loads of stuff planned for this, so they'll announce a fair few things.

And I'm coming on a Monday, compared to a Friday where I'm like, I know we've got this, and this title match, and this development in this storyline.

And I'm going, boys, have you forgotten you've got a wrestling show on a Monday night? It's so surreal.
