It was an out of rematches on Smackdown tonight WWE Smackdown and AEW rampage in the books

another Friday night.

It is January 21st, 2022.

It was a night of rematches on Smackdown tonight, but the one match that was not was the

best match on the entire show and that was the main event with Seth Rollins and Kevin

Owen, representing Monday night Raw, taking on the Smackdown tag team champions, the

Usos with not the titles on the line, but actual stakes in the main event.

There was actually something important riding on this match tonight.

It had Royal Rumble implications if Rollins were to win.

The Usos would be barred from ringside for the Universal title match next Saturday at

the Royal Rumble.

If the Usos won, then Seth Rollins would not get his championship match.

So it kind of gave away the finish, but I thought that main event was a lot of fun.

Outside of that one match, not a whole lot to get excited about on that Smackdown show

tonight.

Over on rampage, we had the in-ring return of John Moxley's first AEW match since October.

Checked himself into rehab.

He missed a few months, came back on Dynamite Wednesday night, gave that speech in the middle

of the ring, and told off that one heckler in the crowd.

Came out tonight and had a pretty good match against Ethan Page.
