On Ramundi night, Paul Heyman told us that we would get an answer from J. Usso on Smackdown Friday night.

J. Usso would give us an answer as to whether or not he was going to fall in line with the bloodline and stand with Roman Reigns,

stand with Solosako, or if he would stand with his brother Jimmy after what happened last week when Jimmy was basically excommunicated from the bloodline on Smackdown.

We did not get an answer from J. Usso tonight, although tonight on Smackdown, it was the J. Usso show, the entire bloodline story revolved around J. Tonight.

There was no Roman Reigns and J getting the chance to win his first singles championship in the main event, wrestling Austin theory for the US time.

Paul Heyman was buttering him up all evening long, Sammy Zane even pulled Jay aside at one point to have a chat with him in the back.

What would his decision be? We're going to have to wait a little bit longer to find out about that.

And J. Usso is not the United States champion. There was more drama at the end of the show, Jimmy Usso making an appearance and accidentally kicking his brother in the face.

Or was it an accident? Wade Barron on commentary wasn't so sure, right? They have to plant that seed that maybe it wasn't an accident. Maybe it was intentional. Of course, it was not.

But they have to drag things out. This is an episodic television show and they're going to make you wait very similar to what happened before WrestleMania when it took a very long time for us to get to the point where we got the official announcement of there being a tag team championship match.

With Kevin Owens and Sammy Zane challenging the Usso they dragged that thing out as long as they possibly could.

And they're doing the same thing now with this whole J. Usso story. So I enjoyed the J. Usso stuff. A great deal.

Because I like J. Usso and I like the bloodline stuff and so I thought it was good storytelling, predictable maybe, but I thought it was good.

But that was about the only thing about the show I can honestly say that was great.

There was one of four money in the bank qualifying matches that I thought was very good. The rest were just throw away. Some of them barely went 90 seconds.

But one other thing that WWE did tonight that I will give them credit for WWE tonight took a major step towards correcting some of the problems and some of the issues with their championships.

So I've been very vocal about this now for quite some time when it comes to for example the women's tag team titles.

We have two sets of women's tag team titles on the main roster post draft.

We have the women's tag team champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler who won a four-way match on RAW just last week to become the new women's tag team champions.

But then they drafted the NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, Alba Fire and Ila Dawn from NXT to Smackdown.

And they had the chance to have them drop the belts before they went to Smackdown and they didn't do that.

In fact, not only did they not do that, the team they wrestled in their last match in NXT got drafted to Monday night row.
