Right now, I'm playing a theme from my phone into a voiceover microphone to record

a preview for one of the biggest nights of the year. Is that the worst thing? Or is the worst thing

my realisation halfway through that I was saluting absolutely nobody? I didn't need to salute. Wilborn

was busy holding this phone up to this microphone. And yet there I was. I'm up in the air for nobody. No, you know, not for nobody in particular. For John Cena. Yes. Yeah? Like, I think I've told the story in the podcast before, but this feels like the most opportune time with which to do it. You know, we've all got our little things and some of the gimmicks happen organically you never really

planned for any of them like weirdly like we will sometimes build in or at some point we'll play

this game or at some point we'll do this but i'd like to think most of the other stuff that we've

come to appreciate on this podcast has happened completely organically to the point when my brain

said this is stiff like that yes because it's as sidrick has pointed out. It's kind of changed the way we speak and act and think. The salute was very much a choice. In 2019, we were still doing the podcast in the old, old what culture premises. I was outside there today when I walked over. The old towers, this is it, right? We've since obviously moved twice. And as World One points out, it's lush to be here. And AWU had launched. And I think those that have been listening a long time can remember that I was absolutely fine with that. And Cedger had added, because of the instant overness of Orange Cassidy and every single thing he did when he became a TV star against the odds, I think as well, added the Orange Cassidy thumb to your

kind of closer. And because I was so fine with AEW's existence and the immediate success

of all these ADW stars, I was definitely fine with it. I was like, right, I need a WDV version of that.
