Solomonster reviews WWE Monday Night Raw for August 15th with a heavy emphasis on wrestling in a week where things were quiet with Triple H holding back on any talent returns. Drew McIntyre had a passionate exchange with Kevin Owens, the likes of which we haven't seen from anyone on this show in a long time, while AJ Styles and Bobby Lashley met for the very first time with another impromptu Dexter Lumis cameo.

This is your Monday Night Raw Review for Monday, August 15, 2022. Here on the Salomonster

0:07.2

Sounds Up channel, I am the Salomonster. The streak is over. The streak of big returns,

0:14.8

triple H, getting all the Tony Khan out of his system. Although we did get another cameo by Dexter

0:20.6

Lumis on the show, there were no big names popping up on the show tonight. Tonight was all about

0:27.1

one thing. Tonight was all about one word and that word is wrestling. If you are a wrestling fan,

0:33.8

if you are a fan of the in-ring product, if you like matches getting time and going long,

0:41.4

and tonight was the night for you. As Drew McIntyre said during his promo,

0:46.6

these are wrestlers in a wrestling ring they are here to wrestle. We have three matches on

0:53.4

this show tonight. I guess one for each hour. That got more than 15 minutes. That is a rarity.

1:00.7

Three different matches got 15 minutes or more on this show tonight. We had Drew McIntyre,

1:06.8

who of course is from Smackdown, but he made an appearance on Raw tonight and they actually

1:10.6

tried to explain why he was on Raw, even though it still didn't make sense. But he showed up

1:15.9

tonight and ended up having a match with Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens is looking to go back to his

1:21.1

prize fighting ways. He wants to go back to the old Kevin Owens. I think a lot of fans have

1:26.6

been waiting for him to go back to the old Kevin Owens. Those two guys went in there tonight and

1:31.2

had a hell of a match. 16 minutes worth in fact. Didn't get a clean finish, but they had a hell of

1:39.3

a match. The big match that was promoted for tonight though was for the United States Championship,

1:46.1

AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, one-on-one for the first time ever. They've never stepped in the ring

1:51.6

together before one-on-one. That'll all change tonight. Long match, Bobby Lashley, still the US

1:58.9

champion, clean win, pinned AJ Styles right in the middle of the ring, wrestling. Austin Theory,

2:07.6

we haven't seen him for the last couple of weeks. There was a death in the family. We haven't

2:11.3

seen him since summer slam. He was back tonight. In fact, he was in the main event on this show
