Night 2 of the WWE draft was unfortunately a lot like night one.

We had the second night, same format that we had on Smack then.

If you sat through those two hours on Friday, you know exactly what you were going to get here tonight for the

final night of this 2024 WWE draft. It was better than Smackdown, but by much you know on Smackdown we had four

rounds of picks raw being a longer show we had six rounds tonight now that the

draft is over my main takeaway is this. They need to seriously re-evaluate doing

these drafts going forward. You know, once they installed Adam Pierce as the GM on Raw, they made Nick all this

officially the general manager on Smackdown.

What they should have done, looking back at it,

you could have had a series of trades orchestrated between the two GMs.

You want to set up a war room, you want to have the two GMs sit down in the same room at the same table,

and go back and forth. You want to build an entire show around it. you want to build an entire show around you want to

build an entire week of shows around it you want to build an entire month of shows around it

that's fine but you've got two GMs now and you could have engineered a series of trades.

Doing a draft where 70 or 80 percent of your roster stays exactly the same makes Makes for boring television.

Now that might be fine for social media.

You want to post that so and so is staying on Raw,

so and so is drafted to Smackdown,

and it's the same people staying put. You want to make an announcement online about that? That's fine. You want to have a YouTube special? That's fine. But it makes for boring TV when the vast majority of what we see are people staying exactly where they are.

And I know you're always going to get some of that, you know going in the entire roster on Raw the entire roster on

Smack that is not going to be blown to Kingdom Common it's not going to be

completely rearranged but man when you have to sit here round by round like that and they put the graphic
