| 0:00.0 | First time in a long time, but back like I never left, taking these things as it comes, you know me, I don't read ahead, which we burned down everything BBE on the TV set, when I made patrol on the road, you could never really know what's up next. |
| 0:30.0 | Welcome, welcome, welcome to another episode of what up next up next, John Sino, Sino Evil, B Detroit's what's going on B what's going on Sino brother, it's, it's been a rough one, it's been a really, really rough week. |
| 0:53.0 | But we are here, we're live, post wrestling, up next, talk about some of the next team and how you doing? |
| 0:59.0 | Yeah, I mean, just a week ago, everything was so happy and normal, I felt like, you know, we were on the top of the world and since we last spoke, a lot of things have happened, a lot of things. |
| 1:11.0 | I want to start with, first I want to apologize to anybody for not having an episode of shining dark as promised, a lot of stuff going on obviously in the wrestling world, but you know, in real world as well. |
| 1:21.0 | I got a little illness I'm recovering from, so I've been kind of MIA because of that. |
| 1:26.0 | Plus the passing of Bray Wyatt really did it to me that that day, right before I was going to record or found out about it, and I was just like, not in the right mind state couldn't do it, but don't worry, I have a show tomorrow for everybody. |
| 1:37.0 | But let's let's start with that, man, obviously Terry funk, we that that happened like right after we stopped recording, I want to say last Wednesday, I think a couple hours after Terry funk passed away, obviously he was declining in health. |
| 1:49.0 | But legendary, obviously, as you can see in almost any wrestling organization, most wrestlers have some form of Terry funk. |
| 1:56.0 | I was first introduced to him in ECW watching, you know, stand up past my bedtime to watch a Terry funk, I mean, who's this crazy old man had no idea like about his history and his past and everything and later on found out about it and he went to WWE to the whole chainsaw Charlie thing obviously. |
| 2:10.0 | But that obviously obviously a legend really, there's not much more you can say, but if you want to read more about it, John Paulie put up a crazy article about the life of Terry funk, so definitely encourage everybody to check that out. |
| 2:23.0 | But yeah, man, any any memories of Terry funk was the first time you guys on him. |
| 2:27.0 | Well, I think I spoke about like having like a older brother on the show a couple times and we were at WCW House and you know world world class wrestling and my brother was a tape trader and you know, so he got his hands on some FMW tapes and stuff like that. |
| 2:45.0 | And so I got exposed to Terry funk very, very early, very young, seeing him do deaf matches, seeing just some of his promos over in Japan and everything like I was exposed to Terry funk way early in my life, my dad's a wrestling fan too. |
| 2:59.0 | So yeah, it was the crushing blow man to the rest of the community and to my family, you know, me because it's like, this is a person you've been seeing our whole lives, you know, I mean, I have a Ric Flair shrine behind me, you know what I mean? |
| 3:10.0 | So I've seen a lot of Terry funk and he's just absolute legend man, rest of the piece to the goat. |
| 3:16.0 | Absolutely. And then on Thursday is a geez man, this is just totally hit me. I'm literally like leaving work about the head home, I'm like ready to record and everything. |
| 3:27.0 | And I get this message like as I'm walking out of my store heading downstairs on the escalator, I just get this message and I have to like sit down and they're really just sit for like an hour, I could not move, I could not leave my mole, I couldn't even go home, I just I couldn't believe I was in total shock. |
| 3:42.0 | I spoke about this on collision course, if anybody want to hear like more in-depth thoughts about it, but yeah, man, this is like the first wrestler I saw his entire career, he bloomed in front of me, I saw him from FCW Developmental, you know, into Husky Harris, into the creation of a wider family, into the fiends, into all these different incarnations of this, this genius, this mad genius. |
| 4:03.0 | And it really hit me, man, 36 years old, younger than me. Yeah, obviously son of a legend, grandson of a legend, so it's just like it's crazy to see this and happen and it, I was just talking to Frank about it like a couple weeks ago and we're saying about how he's like got this mysterious illness and it's so eerily similar to Brody Lee and little will we know that it would have a very similar fate. |
| 4:27.0 | It's crazy, man, I've been trying to catch up to as much wrestling as I can this week and I will talk about all of them, but I watch that, I watch some impact, I watch NWA, all these shows that I was watching this week all had some sort of tribute or references to Bray Wyatt, including tonight's or last night's NXT show. |
| 4:43.0 | So it's great to see like the wrestling world all come together for somebody who might not, who never wrestled outside of WWE, he's been literally from day one in developmental. |
