| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the total sucker show. |
| 0:19.6 | My name is Daryl Grove and I'm joined by a man who knows the laws of the game. His name is Taylor Rockwell. Hello. Hello, I do after having them explain to me by an official. Yes, I'm good to go. That's the best way to learn them. It kind of is, yeah. I have the IFAB app on my phone. Also a good way? Thoroughly recommend it. Yeah, even though it made me update my phone. It made me update my iOS just to get it. And what is the IFFAB app for those who are unfamiliar? Oh, this is a long reference. But IFAB is the International Football Association Board, I think. That sounds right. It's essentially the home nations, so England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, plus FIFA. |
| 0:55.5 | I had to get that reference. |
| 0:56.2 | And they combine to essentially, they're the people that change the laws of the game and keep them updated. |
| 1:02.6 | And they launched an app that was... |
| 1:04.1 | They're the ones. |
| 1:04.7 | They're the ones, yeah. |
| 1:05.6 | They're the stone cutters. |
| 1:07.3 | So they are the stone cutters of soccer. |
| 1:10.0 | So if you want the actual laws of the game, you go Googling it, you could actually get the 2015 version. And likely will. And likely will. Yes. Yeah. But if you just download the app, you have it just there to go and you can pull it up on your phone or whatever and look at it. Yeah. I would say you likely will because that's literally what happened today is I like pulled up the laws of the game and I was like, but doesn't it say this? And the person I was talking to said, yeah, those are the old rules. Here are the new rules. And then it made a little more sense. And of course, the goal will be talking about that really is all about the laws of the game is that Monica own goal to win the game for Australia in Australia, Brazil. Yeah. |
| 1:45.2 | It was an exciting game. |
| 1:45.7 | It was. So we hyped it up in our own heads and then we were prepared for disappointment because of France Norway. Yep. But this game lived up to the hype. It did. Brazil went 2-0 up. Australia came back and won 3-2. You can't ask for more excitement than that, I guess, unless you're Brazilian. You cannot. I would say that it was definitely a lot of excitement and it lived up to that. |
| 1:44.0 | It was also a lot of weirdness. |
| 1:45.5 | They were seriously. excitement than that, I guess unless you're Brazilian. You cannot. I would say that, like, it was definitely a lot of excitement and it lived up to that. |
| 2:03.1 | It was also a lot of weirdness. There were some weird moments in this game. Yes, that is true. That is true. But it was a head scratcher on a couple of cases. The only witness that wasn't good was Australia's jerseys. You don't like those? I just can't read the numbers. I'm sure they look nice. |
| 1:57.9 | I'm sure they're kind of cool, |
| 1:59.1 | at least they're a bit different, |
| 2:00.0 | but I cannot read the numbers |
| 2:01.1 | on Australia's jerseys. |
| 2:02.0 | Am I alone in this? |
| 2:02.7 | No, that seems they're a bit different, |
| 2:19.6 | but I cannot read the numbers on Australia's jerseys. |
