Well, appreciate the invite.

See, you've been having some of my mates on.

Yeah, we've had a slew of your mates on this week,

and we've covered a lot about Russia and Ukraine.

So I think this time we'll start differently.

My first question for you actually is,

as an ex-CIA analyst what did that involve and how did that

affect your worldview? Well there's the theory and then there's the practice.

In theory, the CIA analyst is supposed to be objective,

that regardless of what your own political views are,

regardless of what your own political preferences are,

you're supposed to come in and be a referee to call, you know, as we say with baseball,

call balls and strikes and call it fairly. Don't look up and say, oh yeah, that's my brother-in-law.

So we're going to give him some extra

extra help or that you discriminate in any way and so you know I was

introduced to the profession by men by the name of George Allen.

The George had been in charge of an analysis over Vietnam during the height of the Vietnam War.

And he took a lot of scars from that experience.
