Welcome back, Mike Crawford to the Grace Curley show. Mike Crawford, host of The Young Jerks, joins us every Friday to discuss the latest here in Massachusetts,

especially anything involving true crime.

One of the big cases that the world was watching this week is Brian Walsh.

And most recently, today, he declined to testify at his murder trial.

And there was a piece of information about his dad's will and accusations that he destroyed it.

Mike Crawford joins us now to kind of run through what we missed this week.

What's going on, Mike? And what were your main takeaways from the Brian Walsh trial this week?

I think money. Money is always on Brian Walsh's mind, how he can get it. And I think that is the real

motive. And, you know, for the jury to deliberate today, it's going to be, I think, difficult

to see whether he's going to be actually convicted because

there is nobody. That is the big problem for the prosecution. It's not their fault, obviously,

but that's the burden they have to overcome. But I think they have the motive. And the motive is

about the money. And this guy, I just ask you a question, Grace, like when you're out with your

family, your husband, or maybe you have some people over the house, do just ask you a question, Grace, like when you're out with your family, your husband,

or maybe you have some people over the house, do you bring up how much you make and your

husband make to like a friend like that? Like, is that something that you would do? Yeah, no,

I don't think normal people talk about money like that. No, that's like a Dwight, that's like

a Dwight Shrewd thing that you don't do that in polite society.
