You don't bend it one way or the other. You give it straight. So tell us just a touch about news,

but not noise. And then I'm going to ask you. I'm turning the tables on you today. I'm asking you

the questions. Hi. First of all, it's so nice to finally talk to you and to be here with you. Thank you. The whole concept of news, not noise,

is we are all overwhelmed and panicked by what's happening in the news. And sometimes a lot of people,

a lot of outlets put spin on it that emphasizes why you should be panicked. And my approach is to try to keep you

calm, try to keep you grounded, give you enough facts so that you feel like you at least understand

what's happening because one strategy for me has always been I find calm through feeling

like I understand the information. So I'm in power, I try to empower people with

information and do my best to also remind them of what's good in the world. So let's talk about

this. I mean, you and I were texting back and forth and you noted, and I've seen this in my

own life, is how many people are saying basically no news is no news. I don't want to hear about it.

I don't want to see it.

In fact, my mother was saying that, you know, with some of our relatives, they now have a no politics rule at the dinner table.

You talk about movies, books, what's going on in town, but you cannot talk about politics.

And I've gone to, I have friends who are doctors, you know, like gastroenterologists,

allergist, whatever, and they say they tell their patients don't listen to the news because

it creates anxiety. It creates too much anxiety. My own view is that it's actually okay to step
