Hello everyone and welcome to a special edition of slash film daily my name is Ben Pearson I'm the senior writer at slash film managing editor jaycap all

Hello hello so if this is your first time listening to podcast you should probably know that our normal episodes consist of the slash film staff members discussing the biggest entertainment news of the day, but today we're actually doing one of our writers room episodes where we hash out some specifics about a couple of upcoming articles that we're writing.

0:25.6

So this episode is going to be devoted entirely to Game of Thrones.

0:29.2

And we should say up top that we don't have any inside knowledge of what's going to happen in the

0:33.9

eighth and final season but we are going to spoil everything that has happened in the show up until this

0:38.4

point basically.

0:39.7

Everything where you're going to spoil like pretty much some of the biggest moments ever and I also should

0:45.2

be said that we're going to be trying to hash out three separate features that Ben

0:49.4

I will be collaborating on to go up later this week or I guess as you're reading this or listening to this you may have already read them

0:55.9

But we have not discussed this in advance you can be hearing the actual raw conversations as we figure out what belongs in each of these features. So Ben, what are we

1:05.7

figuring out today? So we're going to talk about the top 10 episodes. I think is maybe what

1:10.8

we're going to aim for 10. We might end up fudging that a little bit so

1:13.8

the best episodes of the show but we'll sort of tack on a season ranking and

1:18.3

overall season ranking and see if we can agree on that and then the moments that's

1:22.0

the one for me I think that's going to be the most contentious is like

1:25.8

narrowing down the best moments in the history of Game of Thrones and then also

1:30.0

we're going to do some like yearbook superlatives like you know we'll get to those at the

1:36.6

end but I if we even have time but I think those first two are the ones that people are really

1:40.5

going to want to hear about so So should we just dive in?

1:43.6

Should we just get started? Yeah, real quick I want to hear one thing. When I made my

1:47.6

list of best moments I have more than I necessary. I couldn't even turn my

1:52.2

own list down. I want your help with that.
