as part of a survey on college savings habits by the college savings app, UNEST. Before we get

to the sex results, there were some other fascinating findings.

The majority of parents do save something for their kids' college,

but most of that money is making almost nothing in savings and checking accounts.

A whopping 80% believe that their child will rely on scholarships or grants for their

secondary education.

But most interesting is the fact that parents play saving for

college ahead of saving for their retirement, which is surprising and probably a mistake.

Your number one priority should be saving for your retirement. What you do say for college, though,

should not be in a bank account unless your child is in their late teens, but it should instead be
