2-2-2020 launch of the rebrand with commanders and the new logo and the whole thing.

But taking Dan off the hook because he was

checked out is wrong. He hired an unproven team president who brought in a bunch of outsiders

to handle the process. It was destined to fail. It's on him. Yeah, no, I get that. I get it's all on him. I'm just saying

those that believe that somehow he was intimately involved in that process, the making of the

brand, the whole, that was not something he had any interest in at that point he was you know resigned to the fact

that he was probably going to a either be forced out or b sell the team he was knee deep

in trying to you know stave off all of the investigations um and it was jason wright his team, including the gentleman's name,

who I forget, the Australian guy was in L.A. He was a big part of it that came in. And,

you know, that for me, look, I don't know if anybody would have gotten it right. I don't know

if they had put together, you know, a board, which included, you know, some people like me who have a real feel for the history of the franchise, a real feel for the fan base. If they had had people that really understood the history tradition, along with other people. I know they had some former players,

etc. But if it had been spearheaded by anybody else, would they have gotten it right?

I can't imagine it could have been done worse, but it was always a challenge. Once Redskins

wasn't the possibility, it was always going to be a big challenge to come up with anything that wasn't going to be polarizing.
