Summary
China made a public issue out of Biden calling Xi a dictator. Normally they wouldn’t have. Gordon Chang and Tony Shaffer agree Xi’s response shows China is looking for a fight. Tony says Americans have to understand that Biden is compromised: that he took money from Ukraine and China. He says there’s a 5-year timeline in which the Chinese will act in a coming conflict between the U.S. and China. Gordon says Xi can’t stop talking about war which shows his mentality. His military commanders say China is ready for war. It could happen as early as this year. China has made important inroads into this hemisphere, and Gordon says we should be thinking about a blockade to keep China out of Cuba. Tony says the United States must also defend Taiwan; 90% of the world’s microchips that go into vehicles are made in Taiwan and China wants those resources.
