Okay, so I want to be super careful today while describing government employees, because I know that a lot of people are affected by this

as the federal workforce is shrinking, and a lot of folks in the Kansas City area were let go

with the IRS and other agencies here over the last week or two, and it's going to affect

people all over the country. It may be a relative of yours. It may not be you directly,

but a lot of people are going to be affected. And I want to just state up front that,

you know, we feel your pain, we understand the pain of people losing their jobs. We get that.

It is also a reality. It's a reality in the business world, the real world, the private sector,

and almost everybody I know has been through something like is going on right now if you're a

federal employee, where you've been worried about your company. Is it going to sell? Is there

going to be a new owner? Are there going to be layoffs? Are we moving to a different town? This is

stuff that Americans in different careers and different walks of life deal with every single day

and have since the beginning

of the founding of our country. It's part of the deal. What I don't think they understand

at the federal government is the people that are complaining about what they're being asked

to do or the options that they've been given, they're complaining about it. I don't think,

I think they completely misread what most Americans will see to the complainers. So for the

point of this discussion today, let's just focus on the people that are complaining. They were

complaining that they were offered eight months salary to walk away. That's more than

executive pay. Executives don't get eight months when they

leave positions. That's a huge severance package. And a very, very small number of people took it.
