All right, welcome listeners to episode 107 of Know Your Enemy. I'm Matt Sittman, your podcast, co-host,

0:06.6

and I'm here as always with my great friend Sam, Edsela Bell. Hey, Sam. Hi, Matt. If listeners detect

0:11.8

a bounce in my step, extra vitality, vibrancy, I am in Rome, and we'll be here until mid-February.

0:20.0

So, first of all, if you're a No I know your enemy listener or a reader of mine who's passing

0:25.0

through Rome, drop me a line.

0:26.8

That happened last time, and it was great, actually.

I met a bunch of listeners.

1:07.1

1:12.0

idea to kind of bring her back on, not really for a post-mortem about the election, but sort of like,

1:18.1

what is our interesting friend thinking? Because we do enjoy talking to her. And I do think you'll

1:22.5

hear in this conversation a kind of unguardedness that I think makes it interesting. I thought it was interesting

1:29.0

anyway. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we talk about the sorts of things we normally talk about with Dorothy,

1:34.1

gender, sexism, the intersection between those things and our politics, electoral politics in

1:39.9

particular. But I think this was a new fold to that conversation that people will find very

1:45.3

interesting. Especially kind of in light of Trump's election and especially the men, especially

1:51.0

he's surrounding himself with. Not exactly a team of rivals, but a team of sexual deviance.
