0:34.1

It's a devotional for wives and mothers, which is what she is. And Amanda,

0:38.5

welcome to the program. Hi. Thank you, Joy. I'm so happy to be here to talk with you about the

0:43.1

book today. Thank you for having me. Now, what I really, I think this is a really great time of the

0:48.1

1:36.3

originated in 2020. One morning, I was, after I did my morning devotionals, I was just

1:41.4

doomed scrolling through headlines and just despairing over all of the

1:47.0

violence and the death toll and just everything just so negative and toxic that was happening in our

1:54.0

world. And I just started crying. You know, and that I turned into a prayer to the Lord and just crying out to him

2:04.8

and just saying, Lord, what do we do in the face of all of this, this hatred and divisiveness

2:11.2

and death and darkness? How do we even stand up against all of this? You know, especially when I'm just me, you know, what do I do?
