And this coincides with our topic for tonight, I believe, because as a cisgendered woman, a former member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a baby boomer.

I participated in the church at a time that there was a lot of doctrine and policy that came down,

that there was not a progressive or nuanced theme behind. It was very black

and white. It was very specific. And we as Latter-day Saint women were definitely told who we were,
