Okay, Mr. Bavir, we are here doing another podcast and I'd like to tackle some tricky subjects, you know, it seems that it's really uncomfortable for men when women preach.

Why, why is that?

It's okay if we can talk, but when we go to the preach realm, it seems awkward.

I don't know, that's why I was hoping you could help me with why why are you asking me? I'm not a man. No, I was at a church this last weekend in Atlanta, an amazing couple.

And they had done a women's conference on Friday and Saturday and they had asked me to stay and do Sunday morning and the pastor, you know, was it she had to get up and go, okay guys, I need to help you.

Lisa is going to come up and she's not going to talk. She's not going to speak. She's going to preach. And it was like when you transfer from the speak talk to the preach, teach zone, women get in trouble.

Can you help me with that according to scripture? Well, you know, because you're the one that pushed me into doing all this and I wouldn't have any problems.

If I had just sat on the front row and nodded and gave birth to your children, then I would have been okay. Well, I think what you look at is there's three scriptures that are taken completely out of context.

I believe two of them are Corinthians one is 1 Timothy 1112. That's the one I always get thrown at me is 1 Timothy 1112. And these three scriptures have overridden everything else in the Bible.

And men have not really studied out the context of those three scriptures. When I look at Acts chapter 2 and I see that God says this is this is God says.

And he's turning his Bible pages right now if you can hear that.

I am that God says I will pour out my spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Now that word prophesied means to speak the word of God under divine inspiration.

Well, aren't women only allowed to do that with children in Sunday school though? No. Why not? Because who was the first evangelist that proclaimed Jesus was raised from the dead?

It was a woman. What was her name? Mary. Mary, right? Okay. Why would Jesus have her go proclaim his resurrection as the first human being on earth to ever do it if women weren't allowed to proclaim?

Because she proclaimed those disciples that Jesus had raised from the dead. Philip had four daughters who prophesied, who preached under divine inspiration.

And so I'm looking at this and I'm like, wait a minute. This is God says this is directly now God is not going to contradict himself through the Apostle Paul.

And so that needs to be talked about in context those three scriptures that men have used to pull out and literally shut down more than half the body of Christ.

You know, since I've got first Timothy to open, I would just love to read it. It's sure. And this is going to be from the Passion translation, so it may be a little bit unusual. And it's from the air make and I absolutely love this translation.

It says, let the women who are new converts be willing to learn with all submission to their leaders and not speak out of turn.

I don't advocate that the newly converted women be the teachers in the church, assuming authority over men but live in peace.

Now, right there, both of them, it's interesting. This is this is Paul talking to Timothy. He is talking about women who are new converts and he is talking about newly converted women be teachers in the church because this is a Greek culture.

They were completely unfamiliar with anything that had to do with Judeo, let alone Christian culture and it says for God formed Adam first, then Eve, Adam did not mislead Eve, but Eve misled him and violated the command of God.
