This one was super sweet and it honestly reminded me of you know those

moments where like you really can connect with patients and they just kind of

sit with you and stay in your heart so I thought this would be like a really neat one to share.

She says, hi, I wanted to send you my Nasty Moment as it may be one of the moments I remember forever.

I just finished my last rotation of my nursing school career and we were placed in palliative care.

I had a patient who was nearing the end and had not eaten for the last two days.

When I offered her ice cream, it was the only moment all day she had spoke clearly.

I sat with her as she ate her ice cream and I

felt this moment of complete ability to show my compassion, which is sometimes rare in
