0:32.1	Thank you so much for having me. I love doing your show and you picked some great cases to discuss,
0:38.4	so I'm well. They're very, very different from each other and they're both very important cases.
0:44.8	So here's what we're looking at. A Florida man allegedly attacked a jogger in his neighborhood
0:50.6	and he used a rubber mallet, a belt from a bathrobe and a can of body spray, like a deodorant.
1:00.5	All of this was for his goal in order to grab the man and keep him in his closet for his own
1:10.2	sexual gratification. And as crazy as that is, the 911 call is why we're going to listen to this case.
1:17.3	But first, did the police in Bridgeport, Connecticut mishandle the suspicious death of a young woman
1:24.6	who was found dead in her apartment after a night with a man that she met on a dating app? He claims
1:31.4	he woke up and she was just dead. As horrific as all of that is already, there are so much more
1:37.6	to this case, Alison. 23 year old Lauren Smith Fields. She's a young African American woman
1:43.5	who was found dead in her apartment on December 12. The man that she was last seen with is an
1:48.4	older white man. And for a month now, this case has been stalled. Lauren's family has been so frustrated.
1:55.7	They say they're going to sue the police because they are accusing the police of being racially
2:00.8	insensitive, of being sloppy with the evidence, slow to investigate. And this to me is honestly
2:07.2	among one of the worst things that they are accused of doing. They never contacted Lauren's
2:13.6	family to tell them that she had died. That to me is horrific. They found a note on her door.
