Hello there, everybody. Welcome to Making the Argument with Nick Freitas and the gang. I'm joined by

Christian, Tina, Nick remotely, and Hamilton, and I am, of course, Sour Patch Lids. Today we're

going to be doing something a little bit different because Nick is remote. We're going to be

looking at a couple different videos. One of them is from canceled comedian turned podcaster and incisive cultural

commentator, Constantine Kissin. He gave a speech in Britain about wokeness, and he really breaks

it down, and he really puts profound points in there. I'm excited to watch that video.

I'm less excited to watch the video from the owner of the Miss Universe pageant because

this is not a woman, but appears as such, does not sound as such.

It's a very interesting video, kind of putting a point on all of these cultural issues

that we are facing today.

So hopefully today's episode will inspire you guys to

keep fighting. I know January and February are kind of depressing. So hopefully we'll give you that

kind of inspiration to keep on pushing because these are really important conversations that we're

going to be having going into the year. So let's hop right into it. Thanks, Lydia. I know we are all here in the studio,

but Nick, you are down in Richmond. Can you give us a brief update on what all has been going on

since session started last week? Sure. So session has started back up. Like as Hamilton said,

I'm down here in Richmond. I serve on four committees. I chair to subcommittee so as you can imagine,

it gets a little bit hectic, especially in what we call our short session, where we have about

45 days to go through about 2,000 bills. So I really appreciate everyone in the studios,

help, and of course the audience, too, I'm very with us as we kind of, you know, have multiple

people from different locations being able to chime in. But I'm looking forward to this

episode because some of the topics that are coming up in this episode are actually very relevant
