Hey everyone and welcome to this episode of Making the Argument. This is the Good Hamilton here

with the rest of the team, Nick, Tina, and Christian. But today we do have a new host joining the show

who I'll introduce to you in just a second. I'd like to take a minute to tell you some of the

story behind making the argument and how the show is doing. With this new addition to the show,

Team Freitas is growing, which is huge news. In 2020,

we launched Making the Argument because we were frustrated with the various social media platforms

at the time and our inability to discuss the issues in great depth. We took a brief break between

November 2020 and January 2021 and relaunched the podcast. Since the show's inception, we've published over 200 episodes.

This episode is number 211, but episode 65 of season 2. In April of this year, Nick decided

that he was tired of talking to himself for two hours a week and invited Tina and Christian and

myself on the show. But listen, Nick's greatest fears

were proven correct, though, that maybe in fact he was boring to listen to because since adding

more hosts, the show has consistently grown month over month for six months. While the show continues to

grow and more folks like yourself, join us on making

the argument on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's imperative to me that we are hyper-focused on serving

you, our listener. You voluntarily decide to spend two hours of your week with us, and that is an

incredible honor when you could spend your time doing so many other things. The bottom line is we are growing.

Since January, our podcast listeners have rapidly increased.

Nick's Instagram has gone from 19,000 to over 270,000.

Our YouTube channel has gone from 6,000 subscribers to over 120,000.

And we are grateful to you.

But with that growth means we need to bring on some other people and we only wanted the best for our audience.
