And the name of the Father is Son in the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus Christ, Son in the living God,

we praise you. We thank you, we love you. We thank you for creating us for joy. We thank you

for loving us so much that you not only save us, but you've made us partakers in your mission to share

the joy of the gospel with the world. Help us to do it well. Glory to the Father, to the Son,

and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it never shall be. World without end. Amen.

The name of the Father, Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen. Brothers and sisters, the world's kind of messy

right now. Have you noticed this? And you want to look to the church for consolation and peace.

And the church is a little messy right now. Have you noticed that too? And sometimes we look at

our own lives and they feel really messy too. Let me tell you something that St. Paul tells us to do

when the world and the church and our own lives are messy. And it's kind of shocking advice.

You see St. Paul wrote this advice to us from prison. He was in prison under Nero. If you think

your president is bad, Nero liked to take Christians, cover them in tar, impale them, and

light them on fire to warm his palace. He had very serious issues. And here he is in prison.

Some people think that the city septic ran near his cell. So he wasn't smelling church incense
