and I'm sitting here in Rome with Bishop Robert Barron. Bishop Barron, good to be here

with you. Hey Brandon, always good to be with you, and usually we're a continent apart

in Orlando and Santa Barbara. Today we're across the room in Rome of all places. Yeah, I've

just been here for a couple of days. I came here for the tail end of the big Senate. You've

been here for a month. A month. How are you feeling? I feel a little bit tired to be honest

with you. It's been good, but the Senate has been more work than I thought it was going

to be. It's pretty steady. It's been relentless, and then we can talk about it more, but I was

relatory of my small group, which is a short way of saying I had a lot of work to do. So,

it never really let up. Yesterday was like the first vacation day we've had in a month,

was yesterday. And then this morning we're off and we go back again this afternoon, and then

all day tomorrow to vote, and then we're finished. Yeah, I want to do a big recap of the Senate

here. We're recording this just a couple days before the Senate is officially over. So,

I want to recap everything that's gone on so far. But before we do that, I want to talk about

two really cool places we've been the last couple days. First of all, tell everybody

where we are right now, where we're recording this from. We're in the office of the pastor of

Santa Maria and Tristavere, which is one of my favorite churches in Rome. It's in this Tristavere

neighborhood, which is exceptionally beautiful. And it is the Jewish quarter of the ancient world.

Presently, the Jewish neighborhood is right across the Tiber. So, just on the other side,

I was there last night actually for dinner. But in ancient times, where we are right now

was a Jewish section, which means when Peter and Paul, and you know, that first community that Paul

wrote the letter to the Romans to, they would have been somewhere around here, the people that
